I Am Looking For An EMDR Therapist To Provide Wellbeing Support For My ISSC Client

I am an ISSC provider looking for an EMDR therapist to support wellbeing sessions using EMDR with my client.

Please be aware that ACC approve 20 sessions for support to wellbeing and these hours are taken out of your 48 yearly sessions. This means you will need to see the client fortnightly for that period or manage the sessions in some way. 20 sessions are usually not enough for a client with complex PTSD and /or multiple incidences of abuse or abusers. I Am Looking For A Therapist To Provide Whanau Sessions Under My Clients ACC Claim

NB: ISSC  clients are able to access counselling support for their whanau members and/ or partner. This is in order to help educate them about trauma, to process the impact of their loved one’s trauma on them, learn skills and strategies for themselves and in order to support their loved one. It is not couples counselling and it needs to be delivered by a therapist other than the clients.

Please be aware that ACC approve 10 sessions for social work for ISSC clients, and only extend this in special circumstances.

I Am Looking For A Psychological Services Assessor and/or Treatment Provider

Information about this contract is provided by the ACC website:

3.3.1. The Supplier may only receive a Referral for Psychological Services (ACC265) from ACC following a:

3.3.1.1. Psychiatric assessment or recommendation.

3.3.1.2. Neuropsychological assessment or recommendation.

3.3.1.3. Pain assessment or recommendation.

3.3.1.4. Other specialised assessment or recommendation.

 3.3.1.5. Recommendation from a Psychology Advisor (PA); or

 3.3.1.6. Recovery Team Member identifying the need for Psychological Services.

3.3.2. The Supplier is deemed to have accepted a Referral unless ACC receives written, email or verbal notice from the Supplier within 3 Business Days of receipt of the Referral.

3.3.3. ACC will not pay the Supplier for Services for a person or Client who has not been referred to the Supplier in accordance with this Service Schedule.

Note. If you as a client, are aware you need to undergo an assessment or treatment under this contract, and you would like to choose your own assessor, treatment provider, fill in the form below.
